Fear, Survivors Remorse, and Determination 72 hours After Fort Lauderdale

No training, nor any experience with guns or gun violence could prepare me for the fear I encountered January 6th at Fort Lauderdale Airport. Poetry on a Gloomy Saturday

Edgar Allan Poe has always been my favorite poet & one of my favorite writers. His darkness mirrored my own, his pain danced with my emotions. The way he loved held conversations with my heart.
