Sisters in Power provides a thought provoking panel discussion with influential panelist, Elise Neal, Toya Wright, Tami Roman, Shaunie O’Neal, Vanna Collins, Wendi J. Turner & More!
November 9, 2016 (HOUSTON, Texas) – Sisters in Power(SIP) kicks off their tour in Houston on November 12, 2016 at 6:00 PM with a phenomenal panel of six influential women to discuss careers, business, gender equality and various issues. This event offers women a judge-free environment where they can engage in conversation, network, be transparent and connect on every level.
Sisters In Power has partnered with the Houston Chapter of Celebs Give Back to provide six women from the Turning Point Shelter all access to the event; in which they will receive a VIP ticket, an opportunity to Meet & Greet the panelist and a chance to walk the red carpet. These six women all have unique stories of survival and are in hopes of being uplifted through this event.
The evening will kick off with a red carpet followed by a mix and mingle right before an interactive panel discussion with several familiar faces. The panel will include veteran Hollywood actress Elise Neal, producer and reality star Shaunie O’Neal, actress and current VH1 “Basketball Wives” cast member Tami Roman, author and reality star Toya Wright, Wendi Turner, noted life coach, author and inspirational architect. Vanna Collins, host of “The Vanna Collins Show,” will serve as the panel’s moderator. VIP guest will consist of Mrs. Aventra Gray, wife of Lakewood’s Associate Pastor John Gray, Pace Poetry, and Nyanza Moore, ESQ. of Fox 26 will serve as the evening’s red carpet hostess. After being empowered, guest will also have the opportunity to obtain inspirational novels from several of the panelist, as well as learn beauty tips from vendor, Klarity Kosmetics. There will be several times throughout the event for guest to indulge in shopping with signature vendors such as Holy One Clothing, The Heart Initiative & various other companies.
