My love for Ruggles (Ruggles Green) is no secret. All you have to do is venture to my Instagram and Im sure you will find a #Ruggles in every 10 pics. Ok maybe not that high of a frequency but everyone knows I love Ruggles. However, when Ruggles Black debuted in November, my life became so busy I didn’t have time to visit. When I would drive by its Kirby location I would tell SIRI to remind me to stop by, I would write it on my calendar, I would make dates with friends that would never materialize. What a mistake! I had been missing out for 6 full months! I was honored to attend their private dinner in honor of their Spring Paleo Feast. The food, company, and atmosphere topped with a very special guest made my first experience nothing short of amazing. The food was organic, creative, artistic, and of course delicious! The recap pictures below is unfair to you as you can’t possibly relive the show my taste buds experienced April 1st. However, you to can “Eat Outside the Box” just with a simple visit to Ruggles Black!

About Ruggles Black:
The concept and food at Ruggles Black is modern and fun: a fusion pushing Indian, Asian, and American flavors to whole new boundaries in terms of taste, but keeping it accessible in terms of price.
Ruggles Black is THE place to be for conscious eating foodies, as Bruce “The King of Paleo” cooks his amazingly delicious treats with local ingredients from farmers, while embracing the Paleo principles.
While the kitchen at Ruggles Black is Chef Molzan’s playground, the dining area is his partner’s canvas. Neera Patidar invited local artist Gino Vian to join her in creating the restaurant’s eclectic interior design, made to delight and inspire their upper Kirby visitors.
Although surprising in many ways, the spicy ethnic atmosphere is yet so versatile: perfect for casual fine dining, late night eating, cocktails & dancing, and can even accommodate special parties.
