The Up & Coming “Rugged” pop artist joins the RAW Showcase in Los Angeles, June 5th.
This morning, 19 year old Alexa Ferr tweeted that she will be taking her talents to RAW’s Los Angeles Showcase this June. I personally met the “First Class” diva last year thru mutual friends and was extremely blown away! When singing her fun-filled pop songs her love for Lady Gaga seeps thru; when belting out a soulful ballad I feel the presence of Amy Winehouse. The multi-talented singer and songwriter recorded the single “Fell” (2009) with Universal Music Group in 2009, featuring Matthew “Mdot” Finley, one of Disney’s Camp Rock 2 stars. She was also an extra in that movie which stared the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.

In September 2013 Alexa Ferr released her first EP entitled “Lipstick on the Glass” in and also released her debut music video for her single that was shot by world renown celebrity (Tamar Braxton, Kanye West, Usher) photographer and director, Walid Azami! As an independent artist, Alexa is working on a second EP with multiple producers including The Invaders. Ferr has not released the title of her second EP but states that it should be released later this year. You seriously do not want to miss her live!
I have been following the RAW movement for a while now. For those who are not aware, RAW is an independent arts organization for artists by artists. They host over 30-70 showcases a month, featuring all genres of art including: independent film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hairstylists, makeup artists and more. They operate in over 60 cities across the United States, Australia, Canada, and now London!
How RAW works!
The artistic talent is hand picked and uploaded to the RAW website with their own profile showcasing some of their work as an introduction. All genres are showcased each month at a venue. The season runs from February-October and comes to an extravagant end with an indie arts award show RAWards in Hollywood.
