This past Saturday one of the worlds most renowned poets, Dr. Maya Angelou was laid to rest by her loving family and friends. She was honored by FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Oprah, Lee Ann Womack, and former POTUS Bill Clinton. The influential poet, mother, author, educator, dancer, actress, student, singer, and philanthropist passed away quietly in her home May 28th, 2014.

A close friend of mine (of non-black decent) asked me; why isn't it titled ALL HUMANS ARE BEAUTIFUL? I paused at first, as I shared her same feelings.
